Si entra nel vivo della season awards e, trai premi assegnati dai sindacati, uno dei più prestigiosi che ci dà anche indicazioni per gli Oscar è sicuramente quello dei WGA Awards, ovvero quello degli sceneggiatori.
Le categoria cinematografiche riconosciute dal sindacato sono le stesse di quelle che premia l’Academy: sceneggiatura originale e sceneggiatura adattata, con l’aggiunta di quella di documentario. Ecco di seguito le nomination:
