Robin Williams entra nel cast di The Bulter, nuovo lavoro di Lee Daniels (Precious) incentrato sulla vita del longevo maggiordomo afroamericano della Casa Bianca Eugene Allen (1919-2010), nelle cui vesti vedremo Forest Whitaker (L’Ultimo re di Scozia). Williams, visto l’ultima volta in sala con Daddy Sitter di Walt Becker nel 2009, interpreterà il presidente Dwight D. Eisenhower. Raggiunge un folto cast comprendente, oltre il citato Whitaker, John Cusack, Forest Whitaker, Oprah Winfrey, Alan Rickman, Jane Fonda, Cuba Gooding Jr, David Oyelowo, Lenny Kravitz, Terrence Howard, Alex Pettyfer e Minka Kelly. The Butler uscirà nel 2013.
