Boyhood di Richard
Linklater ha vinto il Golden Space Neeedle Award del
Seattle Film Festival, battendo Dragon
Trainer 2 e Per Colpa delle
Stelle.
Il film ha ottenuto anche il premio alla miglior regia (forse ancor
più scontato del miglior film, ma non per questo immeritato) e
quello per la miglior attrice, assegnato a Patricia
Arquette.
Altri premi sono andati a
Carlos Marquet-Marcet (miglior nuovo
regista), Dawid Ogrodnik (miglior attore per
Life Feels Good) e Alan
Hicks con il suo documentario Keep On Keepin’
On.
Il Seattle Film Festival è una manifestazione
in piena crescita che comprende 452 film da 83 paesi diversi, in
cui figurano 44 prime visioni mondiali per un totale di 25 giorni
di programmazione.
