Sul film Wright ha dichiarato: “Ho sempre voluto fare un action che fosse impreziosito dalla musica. È qualcosa che fa parte in grande misura dei miei film precedenti e ho pensato a quest’idea di avere un personaggio che ascolta musica continuamente. Quindi, hai questo giovane autista che ha una colonna sonora per tutta la sua esistenza, in particolar modo per le rapine alle banche e le fughe veloci che verranno.”
Trama: La storia ruota attorno a un pilota che si presta a fughe criminali e che si affida al ritmo della sua musica preferita per essere il migliore nel campo. Costretto a lavorare per un boss, il ragazzo dovrà prestarsi ad una rapina destinata al fallimento che metterà a rischio la sua vita, il suo amore e la sua libertà. La vicenda è in parte ispirata al video musicale “Blue Song” della band Mint Royale, che Wright diresse nel 2003.
