Berlinale 2019: nuovi titoli del concorso

Sono stati aggiunti altri 11 film al concorso della Berlinale 2019, mentre altre sei titoli si sono aggiunti al programma speciale della Berlinale Special.

 

Al momento sono 17 le produzioni che partecipaeranno all’evento e che comprendono film provenienti da Belgio, Brasile, Canada, Croazia, Danimarca, Francia, Germania, Israele, Italia , Macedonia, Mongolia, Norvegia, Repubblica popolare cinese, Polonia, Slovenia, Spagna, Svezia, Ucraina, Regno Unito e Stati Uniti.

Alla luce degli eventi recenti, il direttore del festival Dieter Kosslick ha commentato il film in concorso Grâce à Dieu di François Ozon: “Grâce à Dieu – sugli abusi sessuali su minori che sono andati avanti per anni nell’arcidiocesi di Lione – mostra come il cinema possa essere rilevante. L’arcivescovo e gli altri membri dell’arcidiocesi sono stati accusati di mantenere segrete le loro conoscenze sui casi di abuso. Il procedimento giudiziario è iniziato il 7 gennaio 2019, accompagnato da un’ampia copertura mediatica. La Berlinale mostrerà il film all’inizio del festival.”
