Oppenheimer, Maestro e Killers of the Flower Moon sono tra i film che hanno ricevuto una nomination dall’American Society of Cinematographers per il 38° ASC Awards 2024. A completare la cinquina di nominati nella categoria principale ci sono El Conde e Poor Things.
Per quanto riguarda invece le categorie televisive, The Bear e La Fantastica Signora Maisel compaiono in nomination. Lo scorso anno, Mandy Walker diventò la prima donna a vincere il riconoscimento alla migliore fotografia, per il suo lavoro in Elvis di Baz Luhrmann, anche se poi l’Oscar è andato a Niente di nuovo sul fronte occidentale. Negli ultimi 11 anni, sette vincitori del ASC Awards hanno vinto anche il premio Oscar.
