Il Festival del cinema di Berlino 2025 ha svelato l’elenco completo dei titoli in concorso ufficiale insieme alle sezioni laterali di prospettive e speciali. Sono stati selezionati in totale 19 film per il concorso internazionale.
Tra i titoli salienti c’è l’ultimo lungometraggio di Richard Linklater Blue Moon, con Ethan Hawke, Margaret Qualley, Bobby Cannavale e Andrew Scott. Il regista messicano Michel Franco lancia il suo ultimo titolo Dreams in concorso. Il film è interpretato da Jessica Chastain, Isaac Hernández e Rupert Friend. Franco ha lavorato di recente con Chastain sul titolo in concorso a Venezia Memory.
Altrove, il regista rumeno Radu Jude entra in competizione con Kontinental ’25, Hot Milk di Rebecca Lenkiewicz con Emma Mackey, Fiona Shaw e Vicky Krieps entra anche in competizione con l’ultimo What Does that Nature Say to You di Hong Sangsoo e la veterana del Mumblecore Mary Bronstein torna come regista con If I Had Legs I’d Kick You con A$AP Rocky e Rose Byrne.
