Sono stati annunciati i nominati ai Gotham Awards 2024, i Gotham Independent Film Awards sono premi cinematografici statunitensi destinati al cinema indipendente, assegnati annualmente a partire dal 1991.
Anora di Neon, vincitore della Palma d’oro a Cannes di Sean Baker, ha ottenuto oggi quattro nomination ai Gotham Award, tra cui Miglior film, Miglior regista, Miglior interpretazione principale per Mikey Madison e Miglior interpretazione non protagonista per Yura Borisov.
Challengers di Luca Guadagnino di Amazon MGM è stato nominato per Miglior film. Nickel Boys di RaMell Ross dello studio ha ricevuto nomination per Miglior film e Miglior regista, oltre a Miglior interprete rivelazione per Brandon Wilson. Tra le nomination degne di nota, sottolineiamo quella a Vermiglio di Maura Delpero nella categoria Miglior film Internazionale, il titolo presentato a Venezia 81 è il Candidato Italiano di Categoria per gli Oscar 2025.
