Per quanto riguarda la TV, Adolescence di Netflix, con ben sei nomination, è in testa alla classifica, seguito da Nobody Wants This della piattaforma di streaming con cinque. Altri sei show sono a pari merito con quattro nomination ciascuno: All Her Fault di Peacock, The Diplomat e Death by Lightning di Netflix, Ghosts della CBS, The Pitt e Hacks di HBO Max e Severance di Apple TV.
La 31a edizione dei Critics Choice Awards si celebrerà domenica 4 gennaio al Barker Hangar di Santa Monica. Dalle 19:00 alle 22:00 ET/PT, la cerimonia presentata da Chelsea Handler andrà in onda in diretta su E! per il secondo anno consecutivo e sarà trasmessa in diretta anche su USA Network.
La stagione dei premi cinematografici è entrata nel vivo! Una battaglia dopo l’altra di Paul Thomas Anderson, con Leonardo DiCaprio, ha vinto il premio come Miglior Film ai Gotham e ai CCA ed è entrato nella lista degli AFI, dandogli un rapido slancio agli Oscar.
